Start with a Problem.

  • LittleMum develops purpose-built self-care and massage tools around specific problems we believe can be solved better.
  • Some designs begin with an uncomfortable position. Others begin with a tool that requires too much hand strength, loses heat too quickly, applies pressure in the wrong place, or simply does not work well for independent use.
  • We study the problem, build and test different approaches, and keep refining the design until we believe there is a meaningful reason for the product to exist.

Built Through Iteration

  • LittleMum products are developed through repeated testing, adjustment and redesign. Sometimes that means changing dimensions by only a few millimetres. Sometimes it means testing different materials, force levels or support structures. And sometimes it means starting again when a design does not work as intended.
  • Several of our products took years to develop. Components have been custom moulded, structures reinforced, materials changed and prototypes rebuilt because small details can make a significant difference in how a tool feels and functions in real use.
  • We do not believe a product is finished simply because it can be manufactured. It has to make sense in the hands — or under the body — of the person actually using it.
  • Purpose Before Features

Every feature should solve a real problem. We avoid adding complexity simply to make a product look more advanced.

  • Materials Have a Job to Do

We select materials for the role they need to perform — whether that means structure, resilience, grip, pressure distribution, heat retention or skin contact.

  • Honest About Limitations

No self-care tool is right for everyone. We explain what each product does well, what it does not do, and when another option may be more appropriate.

Extend Care Beyond the Clinic

  • Professional care matters. But most people spend far more time managing their bodies between appointments than they do in a clinic.
  • LittleMum designs tools that help make thoughtful, practical self-care more accessible at home — while also giving professionals tools they can demonstrate, recommend and incorporate into ongoing care.
